I think there is a very clear 'take home' message here -- folks like to talk about off topic items sometimes. They are fun. So what do you think about having an off topic forum section? This would do two things -- (1) provide a place for folks to have these interesting discussions, and (2) address the other problem that Keystone Approver noted, about new viewers like park managers getting turned off by off topic discussions in the general forum.
