Guest tem_00
Does any one know what happened to the caches that the wiskey company, cutty sark, used as an ad campaign. I belive it was done around the late 60's early 70's. They were put all around the world in remote, and some not so remote spots. One of them I belive, was put in Chicago, another was at loc ness. The cache was a case of wiskey. They would have full page ad telling about the site, providing directions, and of course promoting thier wiskey. It would be interesting to know how many were found, not found. Quote Link to comment

Guest MountainDiver
It was Canadian Club, not Cutty Sark. Here's a full report... http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a1_185.html ------------------ The MountainDiver N 34 01.649 W084 27.211 "GPS satellites are nice because they can answer two of the three most common questions in my life: "What time is it?" and "Where am I?" If they could also somehow determine whether I have any clean underwear left, the bases would be covered." --- The Brunching Shuttlecocks Quote Link to comment
Guest Eoghan
Forget the Project Ape stuff! I wonder if Hiram Walker could be persuaded to revive this add campaign. Quote Link to comment
