It looks more like an attempt at interjecting humor into an otherwise serious thread. We have a pic of him in OpComm with the cat he shot. This guy in particular is a crap magnet. If there's trouble to be found, he does. Sadly, he's been on LTD for several weeks and probably several months more after being struck in his patrol car while at a collision scene.
