I had a first generation monucular, it was a total waste of money. . My monucual did not last a year before it was burnt out and I was out all the money I paid for them (I was extremely careful with them). Generation one is pretty much WWII technology, I don't know how gen 2 and 3 do, but I imagine much better. I could actually see better at night without them. Here is what you can do to get a similar effect, get a cheap pair of binoculars, and scatch the lens with some steal wool and paint them green. Wyatt W.
