+parkrrrr Posted August 24, 2003 Share Posted August 24, 2003 Alt-0176 is the degree sign. Alt-0186 is the "masculine ordinal sign," which isn't used much in English. It'd be used, for example. in the abbreviation for "primero," which is "1º". If you're typing the degree sign in the forums or in a cache description or log or whatever, you should use ° instead of the alt-whatever. And if you want to do it in Word, use the "insert symbol" dialog. Quote Link to comment
