Since haiku has been done, how about doing an older Japanese form called "tanka"?

 

31 sound units in a 5-7-5-7-7 pattern. Generally written in 5 lines, it features a 2-part form with the first part creating a concrete image or setting that is connected to a comment or emotion in the final 2 lines.
