Tracking caches... - transponder?

I was looking for a thread about this but couldn't find one. I had my first cache out of three stolen recently. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for concealing a tracking device in a cache so that it can be found. (assuming it's just been tossed away into the woods, or into a garbage somewhere.) I was thinking something like what they use to track wildlife. Any ideas on the feasibility of this?

It sounds like you'd be spending hundreds of dollars to track a box containing a few dollars in trinkets. confused.gif
