While I was out Geocaching....umm....

I thought I had pretty much seen everything. But today while looking for stage two on a multi-cache, I came across something very odd.

After arriving at the stage two location and setting off...I found a black bag laying in some tall grass. I wondered if this could be the cache, so I kind of moved it with my foot. I noticed some clothing and a flesh colored object. After looking further, much to my suprise it appeared to be an "adult" item. Turned the bag upside down and out came what appeared to be an "adult" store of items, large, small, batteries, "slippery" stuff and lots of intimate clothing.

I thought...umm...WOW...now that is a cache! icon_biggrin.gif

Not sure what this was doing here, but I took a picture and left the area after not finding the stage two coordinates.

It was very funny, but very odd and disturbing to find.

This is the second story in the forums that I've read where someone found sex items hidden in the woods. What is up with that? Little S&M elves in the woods that cobble this stuff at night?

Kids hiding porn mags out in the woods is one thing, but this is far more strange.

On one of my caches I came accrss a sleeping bag fully laid out. When I went to take a closer look it apperared to be moving and I was a little worried. I pulled back the top and discovered about a million ants and other insects fighting for the right to be the owner. My guess was that the person didn't know about camping and unrolled his bag as soon as he made camp, and the insects claimed it for their own. I wonder how the rest of his night went.

Quick edit no sex toys thank god lol.

Wow, this perked my pointy ears right up! Could someone please send me the coordinates for this enchanted forest? Or do I need to start a "Geocaching.com hates elves" thread?

Next time, instead of getting married, I think I'll just find a woman I don't like and buy her a house.

Nothing to see here, folks. Just spritely sex maniacs frolicking in the woods. Move along....

Maybe we need a new category of caches: Adult Play Toy Cache.

I had some good ideas for cache names, but will try to keep this thread in good taste and will just snicker quietly to myself! icon_wink.gif

The most disturbing thing I found at a cache was in two mason jars. One had what looked like two or three animal hearts floating in a yellowish liquid and the other was full of what looked like peanut butter. Didn't sniff either to see what they really were but I did kick them of a little ways down the hill so that no one else would have the same luck as my wife, son and I. I still remember thinking that someone didn't leave the bread and butter-knife.

Make it four. We and others have hidden caches in the Lake Mendocino area. We found two sex camps on the way to one cache. Lots of condom and lubricant packets and musty old sleeping bags, and when I looked for a place to put a new cache I came across a new and freshly placed Ziploc bag hanging in a tree with one condom and a lubricant packet inside not far off the trail. Kinda reminded me of the hobo messages during the 30's. Needless to say, I didn't put our cache in that area.

Perhaps something has escaped me. What is the attraction to having sex in a soggy, mildewy, nasty sleeping bag that's been left out in the weather? I can understand packing in the bedding for a Wilderness Quickie, but at least have the class to use fresh stuff and launder it afterwards. *shudder*

Sex is like pizza. Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. icon_wink.gif

1) why the heck did you take a picture? Wasn't it traumatic enough? lol

2) umm...did you leave the items on the ground or place them back in the bag? If you put them back in the bag, was managing how you managed to do it?

1. I took the picture because I was not sure anyone would actually believe me.

2. I did leave the items on the ground as I was not real keen about touching anything in this bag. I did feel bad about not trashing it and apologized in the log for not doing it.

Maybe the following log I just received will add some illumination.

wood_fly has logged a cache on your watch list (Sweet Sugarloaf Stash). You can visit the cache at the following link:

I hate giving up. So I was poking around the bases of some of the redwoods when my right ring finger hurt... stung by a yellow jacket - actually found a nest of them! dadgum.

Well I left them alone, found the cache and TNLN but I did find an interesting entry from the last folks to find the cache. Not geocachers but..

"..me and my lady stumbled over your bucket while looking for a place to *AHEM*". No they didn't write ahem, but another fine euphamism for outdoor paired sporting activities. Ah nature.
