Chris JuriCACHE
OK, I admit it-- in recent months, I've been fairly lackluster about geocaching. Not sure why-- winter? The fact that I've more or less mastered the skills? Jeez, I dunno... but just when I get the urge, my GPS goes on the blink. I was getting ready to hit the road and place a new cache when... blink! Fortunately Garmin believes it's still under warranty so it's back in their hopefully capable hands, but now I'll be having no idea where I am eXACTly for another week or longer! !@#$%!! Thanks to Garmin in any case, for helping me out! Quote Link to comment

You could always do what I've done for the last couple weeks, you could seek LetterCaches using the clues from Letterboxing.org. That way you can log a cache without your GPSR. =-=-=-=-=-= Opus P Crathvaf Ehyr Visit my Buddhist Reading Room. Quote Link to comment

+clatmandu
You know Hawk Eye, I tried following one of those 12 step programs, it led me to a cache. Quote Link to comment

I'm keeping my Venture as backup to my III+. It's also nice to have a unit that those you are introducing can hold. If you let them hold the only unit, things can be much less interesting. Anyone know if the III+ has the "reposition here" feature for waypoints? I *love* that feature and wish I'd found it earlier. Quote Link to comment
