+Criminal
Dodecahedral Jar Mama mia, this is one good–looking way to store good–looking pasta. The 12–sided jar is clear glass, 13” tall x 4” dia, with a spring closure on its gasketed glass lid. If you use it for pickled banana peppers instead of pasta, you can store 2–1/4 quarts of them. Plenty of pasta –– or peppers –– we think. 34811 PASTA JAR $3.95 / EACH Link http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ Quote Link to comment
+Snoogans
Just don't hide one in an area where glass containers are prohibited. There's a fine in Texas State Parks and Beaches. Otherwise, I think they're cool. Sngans Sacred cows make the best hamburger....Mark Twain. Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
I got one similar at work for a cool cache container (it had pistachios in it at xmas). When I got it home the wife stole it for pasta and that was that. Quote Link to comment

We tested out a bunch of similarly-shaped containers for use in our planted aquariums' DIY CO2 systems. Briefly, you use the container to mix yeast and sugar with water, and the resulting CO2 bubbles help the plants grow. We were looking for the most air/water-tight container, shaped thusly. The test: Fill it with water, hold it upside down. The Tupperware spaghetti pasta container kicked butt over any of the WalMart, Target or Fred Meyer stuff we found. Unfortunately none of that stuff is truly water/air-tight since it lacks the rubber gasket/glass seal that Criminal's jar. -------------------- This space for rent! Ask about our easy layaway plan! +carleenp
Isn't this pretty much the came thing as a tall canning jar? Anyway, I could see using canning jars in various sizes since they have the gasket in the cap. Quote Link to comment

SLCDave
I've thought about using canning jars, but all it takes is one accidental drop, and your cache is on the disabled list. "I'm 35 Years old, I am divorced, and I live in van down by the river!" - Matt Foley Quote Link to comment
