+Jamie Z
Here is a site some of you may get a kick out of. Maybe we could start submitting "coordinated" photos. Says on the site that a TRS80 is running the whole deal. Is that possible? Jamie Quote Link to comment

How else will they get rid of the "Kick *** Toto mix". That scares me just a little. Quote Link to comment

It's amazing what you can do with old hardware! I think I first checked the site out a little over a year ago. I thought about holding up a sign with time & coordinates, and have those coordiantes be a cache. People would have to watch Humanclock at a certain time to find the cache... Only thing that could make it not work would be if the picture didn't get added to the lineup... But the guy takes 'donations' if you want a particular picture at a certain time... Hmmmm... +MrGigabyte
quote:Originally posted by Jamie Z:Says on the site that a TRS80 is running the whole deal. Is that possible? Humanclick.com is running Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) PHP/4.1.1. These are very current release versions of Apache and PHP. The path to their document root is /usr/home/humanclock/html/, typical Unix/Apache file structure. Their complete php include file is publicity viewable at http://www.humanclock.com/.include/common.inc . I have emailed them and advised of the security hole. Dot files (.include) are hidden files in a unix file system. This site is not running on a TRS80! Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
I still don't know if I truly believe its running on a Trash80, but FWIW, heres a description of the server (complete with source code): http://www.humanclock.com/webserver.php Illegitimus non carborundum! Quote Link to comment
+dthigpen
NO, it's not running on a TRS-80, heh. First off, you wouldn't port Apache down to 25k =P, you'd just write a new streamlined web server. Second, the operating system that the TRS-80 runs has no packet driver. Third, Look at the source, it's a clear joke =). Though I'm *sure* that everyone here never would believe such a thing in the first place after viewing their WebServer page and seeing what they claim it is made of, heh. Doug. Quote Link to comment
azog
All the graphics files are stored on cassette tape? Whee. Sequential storage media. Someone with a TRS-80 willing to run the 'source code' and see what flies? ---------- Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you be also be like him. Quote Link to comment

As a little sidenote, I encountered the members of Toto at my place of business. I don't know who is who in the band, but one of them had a fine GF with him... she would go get him beers now and then. Also, he would talk about all the groupies he still has access to, all the while she sat there and nodded and smiled. I just need one hit song, that's all. Jamie Quote Link to comment
+parkrrrr
Y'know, the FAQ suggests getting a second monitor for the human clock. +infosponge
Folks who say that the naked body (usually their own) is ugly/revolting/unnatural/etc. probably haven't seen enough naked people in their lives. If you spend enough time around nudists you realize how ugly and unnatural clothing is. But this is probably off topic for geocaching. quote:Originally posted by MaxEntropy:Folks who say things like that have never seen my naked body. http://www.tampabaygeocaching.com Quote Link to comment
