Buckaroo Banzai
My two local Army/Navy stores are no longer carring Ammo boxes does anyone know if there are any online vendors or know of any place in the Central New Jersey/NE Philly area that I can find .30 cal boxes? Thanks, BB If it's not one thing, then it's another... Quote Link to comment
+VentureForth
Cheaper Than Dirt (Texas) and Major Surplus and Survival (California) and Perret's Army (Louisiana) and Load Up (East Coast) There are several more out there. Do a google search on ammo can. Even check out eBay. Maybe you find a pallet somewhere, get them cheap and resell them in your area. I'm sure other cachers would be appreciative!! +briansnat
JR Tobacco in East Hanover NJ had a pallet of .30 cal boxes for $4.50 each a few weeks ago. Not sure if they're gone yet. The best price I've seen overall for ammo cans is at www.cheaperthandirt.com. They have both the .50 & .30 cal boxes for $3.99. Someone else mentioned E-Bay. There were entire pallets for sale a few weeks ago. May still be there. I think it came to less tha $2.00 a box, but you had to buy the entire pallet. I thought about it, but I recalled the look of dismay on my wife's face when the UPS guy showed up with my order of 30 boxes from Cheaperthandirt. I think she would have freaked when the truck came and unloaded a full pallet! Quote Link to comment
+leatherman
There is a stubby 20mm can. Same width but shallow. There is a tall 50 cal can. Three good choices. Preperation, the first law to survival. Quote Link to comment
