bcj19
With a risk of sounding uneducated... Can someone please tell me who/what "Markwell" is? Happy Hunting! ~ bcj19 Quote Link to comment

+The Leprechauns
Markwell is one of our most prolific forum posters, and MANY of his posts are made to assist newcomers by referencing them to forum threads where their question had been discussed previously. He is our resident forums historian and one of the most helpful geocachers around. He has even put together a FAQ Page. Of course, one of the FAQ's explains that "Markwelling" is a new verb that describes the process of referring someone back to an earlier forum thread. You've been "Markwelled" when someone like Divine or me posts a link that takes you someplace where your question is answered. +brad.32
He knows all, and will point out the previous posts and threads where a subject has been discussed previously. You've been "Markwelled" when he catches you at repeating something. Quote Link to comment

+Jamie Z
Of course, some people think Markwell (among others) posts too much and should let other people have a chance. (Hey, new Greamlin) Jamie Quote Link to comment
+Dave_W6DPS
Let us not fail to emphsize the verb "to Markwell", which means to point out that "this whole discussion has already been hashed through in another discussion thread". Preferably with a link to the previous thread... See also web page. My two cents worth, refunds available on request. (US funds only) Quote Link to comment

+Markwell
Any time. The more people that read the FAQ, the less people that ask the same question over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
