+BadAndy
Normally, my caches are approved very fast. The last month or so however they have been taking 4-5 days. The last few were approved by an approver in Montana, instead of Utahadmin. I hope my good ol local admin isn't sick or anything. "Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!" Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
Must be on vacation or something. Several nearby approvers have been filling in. Quote Link to comment
+Mark 42
I know that generally the approvers don't physically check the caches, but do they ever do it if there is some question, or just out of curiosity? "I'm not Responsible... just ask my wife, She'll confirm it" Quote Link to comment

Don't get me started on that one Mark 42! lol I think it depends on where your approver is located. Ours in Massachusetts apparently are over 1000 miles away down in Georgia. +BadAndy
So, if my local approver is on vacation...do I just pick any ol admin to email about the status of these caches? "Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!" Quote Link to comment

I've been picking up the caches in Idaho these days. Oddly enough, though, I've been trying to get a few more weeks of caching time in before the snows close everything down, and as a result I tend to not get to caches submitted over the weekend until the start of the business week. Unfortunately I came down with something on the way home this Sunday, and so wasn't up to approving a lot of new caches immediately. The backlog has been cleared, thanks mostly to another approver who stepped in to help out. If you simply must have a cache approved on short notice, you can try direct contact, but generally it's a First Come, First Served basis. As always, this is a volunteer job, and some of us have a little more time to volunteer than others... MT Fellwalker MT Fellwalker --- Frog? What frog? Quote Link to comment
