Whose avatar is your favorite?

I like MaxEntropy's and BrianSnat's various avatar, but they tend to get it in my head that that's what those guys look like.

CYBret also has good ones, except for the flaming monkey, that scares me.

Oh, and Majicman's of course.

I like mine...wait, I switched it to that Peter Pan guy and it didn't work. Oh, forgot to log off.

EDIT: There, that's better.

And Magicman's really grosses me out.

After careful deliberation (amongst myself?) I have chosen the following: 1)Team 5-oh!- Bumbles always bring smiles 2) CYBret- nice defamation of art 3) BrianSnat (old image!)- if it weren't for the tag, it would be cruel. But the tag makes it great! 4) Markwell- Innocence Abroad.

Honorable Mention goes to Warm Fuzzies. For far too long I've looked at this character and seen a cartoon woman w/ elbow-high gloves and strapless evening dress... no serioulsy. Only after therapy did I realize those are FEET!!

Sorry Fuzzy!

Don't ask me. I'm not from around here...

Gaaah!

My brain has just fallen out of my head! Why'd you go and do that to me?

My personal favourite Avatar is Tim&June's, from the UK forum.

Markwell's is also one of my favorites. I've always been a big Calvin & Hobbes fan!

I just recently finished designing a new avatar for American Eagle & Lady Liberty, but he hasn't placed it yet. He' going to be gone for a couple of weeks with the National Guard, maybe we'll see it when he get's back.

I like Dogdoins (sp?) whose avatar is the fat man in a ballerina outfit. I sent that pic to a friend who make it a screen saver! (and diet aid!)

I was about to vote Markwells avatar, but I have to give my vote to BrianSnats new one. That web page where it's from is hilarious! icon_biggrin.gif

Mine is the Millenium Force's First hill of 310 feet. WOW what a screamer that coaster is at Cedar point, and I rode that monster 13 times now(Just last year too).

You don't mean to say you missed this old thread?

It won't make sense without the avatars now, but I've at least put mine back. (Well, I thought I did)

Well, I don't know if it's art, but I'm honored.

It certainly worked out better than this avatar, which I used for a short time:

My favorites include (but are not limited to):

CYBret's (I'm a Magritte fan)

UMC's doot bucket (makes me laugh)

Zartimus and Lyra usally have something strange and interesting icon_smile.gif

I enjoy seeing the changes to avatars over time, and I also enjoy the Jeremy-avatar knock-offs

I, too, interpreted the Warm Fuzzy in long gloves, though I saw the feet as a black leather brazier - its like an ink blot!

I like Markwell's. I've always enjoyed Calvin and Hobbes, kind of takes me back to my own younger days when life was a lot simpler.

I like the Doot bucket too. At first I thought it was the DOT (Dept. of Trans.) bucket.

And I still say it's a strapless evening dress! icon_smile.gif

I really don't see the resemblance.

Well,

Since my Avatar is my ONLY Grandson, heretofore called: "Spaghetti Boy!", I choose it...

But, then, I am extremely biased in this matter.

How about an Avatar Matching game like this:

Match the one above with the one below, by filling in the blank.

Are you trying to say that is not what they look like? Oh man! That really is going to screw with my head if that is true.

I like BrianSnat......er.....his old one.....not the new one. And Majicman's is neat, especially as I now know who it is.....very nice. And of course, I'm a calvin and hobbes fan, so Markwell is nice......but, my only vote goes to ........MINE.....sorry. icon_smile.gif

I like Calvin & Hobbes, too, which is why I used a similar avatar nearly a year ago. It surprised me when Markwell adopted the same cartoon, but I deferred and switched to a different one, and then another...

I have always liked Markwell's calvin and hobbs avatar. Calvin and Hobbes have always represented to me what can happen with innocence and imagination. And I really liked MountainMudbug's old avatar. It was simple but it told the story of who she is.

I didn't notice that before but I bet your right! he is mocking you! icon_biggrin.gif

I like Markwell's too, it reminds me of the two best buddies in the world heading off on a long adventure together, with their GPS's in their pack sack. icon_smile.gif

I like that one with the hiker trees, sun rays and weiner dog. Can't see it just now so I don't know who's it is. The only thing I'd change on it is the weiner dog...I think a collie outline would look better. But then they actually have one of them rabbit chasers so it's fitting.
