Azimuth!
Tomorrow I will go to Czeck Republic and I will also place a cache over there. I think I have once seen a stashnote written in czeck language but I really cant find it anymore. Anyone here who knows immediately where on this enourmous internet it has gone? If not it is not a big problem, then i will leave the english an german stashnotes, and I dont think it will be found accidentally, unless the stream will turn into a huge river but then the cache will be gone anyway. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+welch
try here: http://www.geocaching.com/articles/GeoCaching_czech.txt if that doesn work just go to the "hide & seek a cache" page, theres a big list of all the stash notes down the right side. Quote Link to comment

How do you plan on maintaining this cache? Placing a cache that you cannot maintain is rather irresponsible and pretty much a no-no as discussed in many threads. Quote Link to comment
Azimuth!
thanks Welch! That has been exactly what i have been looking for! For Red Shoe Girl, I live approx. 600 miles from where i am putting the cache, is that near enough? I think that there is a need for some nuance in the discussion of self-maintaining caches. If I see the 9 caches now in Czeck Republic, most of them are put there by foreigners. I dont think they will maintain them anymore, that does not seen to be a big problem because they are hardly found, almost only by truly hooked cachers. for that reason the place is very important, there may not be any change the cache is on forbidden terrain or will be discovered by people who did not intend to. Furthermore if something seems to be wrong with a cache you can always archive it. This does not matter because I am indeed capable of maintaining the cache.I visit the cache-spot every year because the spot is a few miles from my parents camping. if anything seems to be wrong my parents or a gps-owning guest can check it out. Salvo
With sparse roving bands of people w/ AK47's... Would that be a level 5 difficulty cache? Quote Link to comment
