When you Cache

Recommended Posts

It depends on the number of caches in the area, the scenery, and amount of time I have. I usually like to explore awhile but in a lot a cases there's really nothing around that interests me. By the way, I finally figured out the 'Eye, Ham, We, etc...' line. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I was starting to feel We, Todd, Did myself.

Ever notice everybody is willing to give THEIR 2 cents worth but only offer a penny for YOUR thoughts?

Well, I try to take along the misses whenever I go, but she isn't always interested. I'd say about 25% of the time she and I go together. When we do, we usually linger and enjoy an area.

When she remains behind, I head out alone. Depending on my time, etc. determines how long I will stay. For instance, today I found, logged, and split as I needed to get back for something.

Well normally when I take off in the morning I have a whole day planned. I like to go to large wilderness areas and see how many I can do in a day. I always end up taking the long route to my caches and spend the whole day only doing half of what I had planned. I think after doing all my wrong turns and one mile hikes turning into twice that amnount. I will teach myself all about TOPO especially after today. Had 4 planned only got 1, I drive myself crazy. I am slow but I normally always get my cache.
