Guest wildkirsten Posted August 31, 2001 Share Posted August 31, 2001 My daughter placed her first cache today with great pride and sneakyness. It is in close to many houses and kids . I had wanted a more hidden place , that would be harder to find... but she wanted it close to the house so that it could be checked over every few days. How long can I expect it to last there ??? I do have a backup plan... if it gets discovered I will place a sign there showing a more hidden location nearby... thereby saving the fun for people if they make the trip. Quote Link to comment

But two weeks later, all that's left is the lid of the ammobox! Now, it's still something of a viable cache, I feel, as there's still something to find-- but don't underestimate the casual and uninterested prying eyes of the public. They get curious fast.
