compass_bearing_north
In general, how many caches do you find a month? [This message was edited by compass_bearing_north on April 12, 2003 at 03:18 PM.] Quote Link to comment
+Zzzoey & illDRIVEuNav
you didn't put 30+, 40+ or 50+ as an option! or for Oregone and Explosis, perhaps an option of over 100 would work... Quote Link to comment

+Hoomdorm
Considering that there are only 187 caches within 100 miles of me and 5 of them are my own, I take it a little slow or I'd run out of things to hunt. -------------------------------- Magellan Meridian GPS Handspring Visor Deluxe L.O.S.T. - http://www.kjjeep.com Quote Link to comment
+Harrald
I've averaged 15 searches a month. I've averaged 13 finds a month. As I find more caches I have to go farther to search. That takes time from away from hunting. I'm sure my average will continue to fall as time goes on. I found 4 out of 5 caches I hunted for yesterday. That took 5 hours and 8 miles of hiking though. Add two hours driving time to the area and I was out for the whole day. ==================================== As always, the above statements are just MHO. ==================================== Quote Link to comment
+DustyJacket
I am in the same boat as Harrald and L.O.S.T.hoomdorm. I don't want to find them all right away, and now my drives are getting longer. BTW this is the same subject as: How many caches per month do you log? DustyJacket Not all those that wander are lost. But in my case... Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I average about 5 finds a month, but in reality, a typical month would have a lot fewer. My average is skewed by a vacation I took out west where I found 14 caches in 3 days and a handful of multi find days. I have a lot of not founds too, so if I included those, I estimate the number would be about 7 per month. If you add in hides, scouting trips and maint trips (which are still geocaching to me), my average goes to about 11 a month. martmann
Hey BrianSnat, I like your new avatar, very original, much better than the Geko you used to have I put down less than 20, I only have 16 hunts (14 finds) so it's hard to glean a pattern from that. I am Unemployed at the moment so I go whenever it isn't raining or threatening to (not very often). I am fortunate enough to live in a very cache-rich area, but I often go over ten miles from home, just to mix it up. _________________________________________________________ If trees could scream, would we still cut them down? AlphaOp
I'd say fifteen or so per month. But that number might be increasing quite a bit. I'm not in a cache-rich area, so far I've logged about 12 finds, and planted five caches. So I'm responsible for about 20% of the caches in Erie County. :-D CODENAME: ALPHA OPERATOR daedalus://govlink/secure/majestic/12.12.12/ops/throne/AO MAJESTIC-12: THRONE G6 LEVEL AGENT http://www.forumplanet.com/gamespy Quote Link to comment

+AltDotAir
You're going to get a skewed sample by posting here, Compass. Too rabid a bunch that they read discussion boards about an outdoor activity == Alt Dot Air == Quote Link to comment
+evergreenhiker!
My career average is 39.933 caches/month. Now at 599 caches found. The average is skewed by last month....got 138 caches! 61 in one day with the Yakima Cache machine. I'm on pace for well over 50 this month. Currently at 43 finds. Overall, if you used weighed mean, on top of my head, I probably am around 35 per month. December was my lowest month at 20. Quote Link to comment
