Growley
In a past thread, geocachers displayed some of their collectable cache cards, geocaching team logos, etc. I would like to know if anyone is designing their logos, etc. with programs like Printshop, Printartist, etc. or are they all with big expensive programs. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+ict X ckr
I don't have Printshop or Printartist, I have to rely on Excel and Word....very awkward Don't step in that!!!!! Quote Link to comment
+gnbrotz
I use MS Publisher to create my cache cards, and also used MS Word to make name badges for an event cache last summer. Both programs came with my computer. Greg N 39 54.705' W 77 33.137' Quote Link to comment
Northern-Lights
I used Microsoft works, used the business card function, copied a picture from the internet that showed the Northern Lights.....did a front and back page....got some business card stock from Staples....ya they had that.......then printed them up and sealed them in plastic. They turned out VERY nice. Earth First!!! We'll cache the other planets later!! Quote Link to comment
+misguided one
Here at Team Misguided HQ we started out using MS Home Publisher. Then we switched to MS PictureIt! Publishing Platinum edition, after we had some difficulties with the former. We just purchased Print Shop Deluxe about a week ago, and were eager to give it a good shake down. ___________________________________________ Cum catapultae proscriptae erat, tum soli proscript catapultas habeunt. +High Desert Fish
This idea sounds great. I also like the sealing in plastic idea. Hopefully we can get that going here. It would be nice to collect cards from other cachers. L Quote Link to comment
+CYBret
I started to make mine as just a jpg, but then realized it would be much easier to edit as a Publisher file. I also made cards for my travel bug and placed about 20 of them in a ziplock baggie with it, so people can take one as they find the bug. +DustyJacket
I printed some business cards on magnetic material (by Avery) to make refridgerator magnets. I just used MS WORD. The person who designed my geocaching signature buttons (see my avatar) used a big expensive program. DustyJacket Not all those that wander are lost. But in my case... Quote Link to comment

+Hoomdorm
I really like that idea of making cards for TB's. Hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea for my future TB's. It'd be nice to have a little collectable from the ones I find. -------------------------------- Magellan Meridian GPS Handspring Visor Deluxe L.O.S.T. - http://www.kjjeep.com Quote Link to comment
