This came up in the IRC channel tonight, I figure there must be more versions out there

 

old geocachers never die, they just lose lock

 

Got any more?

.... they just hang out in #geocache.

.... they just have their WAAS disabled.

.... they just go into battery saver mode.

They will finally know the true meaning of GPS!

Their lanyard will loose its function and become locationless. Even rechargeable batteries won't

give the charge they used to. icon_eek.gif

 

Their rocking chair will become a level 1 & 4 cache and they can't find it. icon_frown.gif

 

If they are lucky they will be able to remember certain waypoints, but projecting a waypoint will be a thing of the past. icon_razz.gif

(Didn't we just cover this in a fill in the caption recently?)

 

We're going on a treasure hunt...we're not quite sure just where...but with our trusty GPS, we'll find a cache stashed there!!
