+EMTJeepers
Does anyone know the setting to change the time allowed for upload of the maps to the gps. I've been able to override the Memory & baud rate. can't seem to find anything on the timing. Quote Link to comment
+chillas
What exactly do you mean by "the time allowed?" The time it takes is going to be determined by the size of the region(s) and the data transfer rate. ----- Memory is a prism through which yesterday's light is passed. Quote Link to comment
+Shoebox
You might want to take a look at one of the Yahoo Groups that discuss the Magellan GPSs. I belong to the m330 and Magellanmap330 Groups and they are always talking about the technical side of the software and secret codes in the M330 to override commands - all of which go right over my head. But they should be able to answer you technical questions. I believe there are other Groups that cover a number of the different Magellan models but as I don't own the other models, I didn't look for them. Quote Link to comment
+EMTJeepers
Thanks for the responses. What I mean by Timing, is that the software itself, stops uploading after about 64 meg worth of information. It comes up with a message that states something like 'it has reached its timing threshhold for the Map330'. I'll check out the Yahoo groups. Thanks again. EMTJEEPERS. Quote Link to comment
