+Smokehouse
You want to learn more about the original Geo-cachers? Lewis and Clark is a story that you have to know. These guys went where no American had gone before, navigating and making maps along the way. Years later it would be shown that of all the miles logged, their map was off by only 40 miles. They traveled 4,000 miles, so 1 out of every 100 miles ain't bad when you consider that they used primarily dead reckoning. I would highly recommed this book to anyone who wants to see what America started as and to hear a story told by the travelers themselves, all 40 or so of them. This is my favorite book, I am sure many of you have already read"Undaunted Courage", but if you haven't please pick it up, you will thank me for it! The KGB Quote Link to comment
