Email when new logs are added to my chace

Is there anyway that I can recieve an email when a new log is added to one of my caches?

Use the "watch this cache" link at the upper right of your (or anyones) cache page.

I know that I get an email when logs are added to caches on my watch-list.

 

But I thougt that I would recieve an email on my own caches.

 

But if adding them to my watch list, is the solution then be it.

You should get email messages when logs are added to caches you own. There is no way to turn it off.

 

Is your email address right in your profile?

 

My employer has an junk email filter that rejects email from Groundspeak. Could that be your problem? I had to set up and alternative email address to receive Groundspeak messages.

E-mails relating to logs on your own caches don't require the cache being added to a watch list - it is automatic.

 

If I add my own caches to a watch list, I will get 2 e-mails each time someone makes an entry.

 

If you are not getting them, the 1st thing to check obviosuly is that the e-mail address in your profile is correct. I just sent a message to that address, check to see if you get it.

I got the email allright.

 

And I recive an email, when someone is adding a log to a cache i am watching.

So far I can live with adding my own caches to my watch-list
