I have been going to yard sales and finding lots of good containers real cheap.You can find an interesting item to put in a cache also.Besides the store where do you find your cache containers????

I use 30 & 50 cal. ammo cans from www.cheaperthandirt.com Price is right, delivery is very reasonable & they will hold up great in any weather conditions. Got 12 caches out there now in ammo cans & no problems with moisture or anything else so far.

This is by no means an original idea of mine, but my last two caches for 4 inch diameter PVC pipe, sealed at one end, with a removeable top at the other. I painted them to blend well with their hiding places. One is hanging in a tree. The diameter restricts the types of things you can put in them, but it is a pretty good container.
