A glance at a West Marine catalog showed these possibilities for protecting caches: PackMate, 3mil heavy duty "zip-lock" bag. 14" x 19". With one-way valve. Seal, then press to 'burp' air out. Could be used to protect the entire cache! Would make a 'flat' cache for hidding under leaves or in skinny spaces. $7 SurfSafe, small black waterproof case with hanging eye. 2.5" x 3.75" x .75" $7 MiniSafe, small white waterproof case with waistbelt. 5.5" x 4.25" x 1.12" Might hold a 3x5 spiral logbook? $8 Quote Link to comment
