+hoovman
I've seen discussions of the first 2 here in the forums. The third one (custom hiking stick) looks interesting. Quote Link to comment
Rubbertoe
Let me re-state my opinion that it is quite lame to hide a cache that you didn't even make yourself. The Toe Pages Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
saw alot of discusion over in this thread. I personally don't care for the idea, but alot of people do, or these things wouldn't keep showing up on ebay. Most of these seem to be decent caches, better then what some people make on their own, so if this keeps some people from placing trashcaches, I'll look at it as a good thing. +JadedOne
I think the container is pretty interesting. I have seen so far ammo boxes, rubermaid containers..so this would be different. I am sure it is widely used, this is just my experience so far as a new GeoCacher. kat Quote Link to comment
+bloodwood70
ya know I just started caching and the question I have is What kind of couch potato just puts together caches to sell? and the other thing is building your own cache to hide is part of the game I wonder if the seller is even a geocacher THATS NOT BURNT, THATS BAR-B-QUE Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
As I recall, the seller referred to in the previous thread was a cacher. As for whether one should buy premade caches, I believe that the joy of putting together a cache 'from scratch' may not be the same for all players. If the result of this is quality caches, why should I care if someone buys a cache ready-to-place or puts it together himself? Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again. Quote Link to comment
