Paddy Yenar
There is going to be a Geo-shindig in Louisville Kentucky on June 21, 2003. It looks like a few of the 1000+ club are having a lawn party somewhere in the "Ville" I'll be there with my McToy in hand (and maybe a few golfballs for SMTC). And if you're not the social type, there are over 1000 caches in a 100-mile radius of the event. Louisville has 3 major airports within 100 miles. Three interstates (I64, I65, and I71) run through the city. And I think the train still runs from Chicago. So there is no excuse not to attend. +Dread Pirate Roberts'
Whoo hoo, can't wait! I hope some of the regulars here can make the trip Quote Link to comment
Turtle3863
I invite any new cachers in the area to come to this event. I really got the Geo bug after the last SMTC event. At the time I had only 10 finds, and they really made me feel at home. The weather is going to be great, so no excuses. Slow and Steady Wins the Race Quote Link to comment
sbell111
When I first read your post, I thought 'Great, I can be there!' Then I realized I had misread the date as July 21. There's no way I can make it this weekend. Perhaps we'll bump into some of the locals when Beth and I pass through next month. Quote Link to comment
Marky
I had originally thought it would be cool to try and attend, but just couldn't make it work. I bet it will be a blast. --Marky "All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer with a backlit GPSr" Quote Link to comment
Team GPSaxophone
I can't make it. I'm refereeing co-ed mud volleyball this Saturday. Gotta have priorities! BTW, how can I keep my digital camera clean? Took sun from sky, left world in eternal darkness Quote Link to comment

JoGPS
I don’t know how many cachers are going to be here but by my count there will be fifty plus Travel Bugs not all are on the page yet………………JOE Quote Link to comment
woodsters
A little bump for this. But on this note, is there a package one can get from Geocaching.com on holding caching events? Such as rules, suggestions, etc? If anyone has any information on putting one together, please email me. I think it would a great event to do even on a smaller scale. What a great way to bring cachers together and meet each other. Brian Wood Woodsters Outdoors http://www.woodsters.com Quote Link to comment
Markwell
I would LOVE to have an official chat time (or a particular thread) where I knew I would be able to talk with other event organizers. I've had two that I helped get ready (and another one on the way), and attended one other fabulous one locally. But to have a brainstorming session on ideas would be great. Then these ideas could be documented and made available for others that want to host an event... Markwell Chicago Geocaching Quote Link to comment
JoGPS
I can promise that this event will be every bit as unorganized as the original Woodstock just laid back and fun………………JOE Quote Link to comment
Camping Hoosiers
The weather is looking great for this event!! Better bring some travelbug spray though... this event is going to be lousy with them! I think I may still have one laying around that I might release over there! See ya there! jeff' Camping Hoosiers Memphis, Indiana. USA Quote Link to comment
