What do you do for a living?

Pretty sure I answered this somewhere in these 9 pages already, but currently my job is "Geocacher" (translation, unemployed bum).

I wonder if I can find someone to pay me to be a cache proxy? I'll go find the cache and sign your name for .39/road mile + $10/hr hiking time + you supply your own cache trade items. Any takers?

Tae-Kwon-Leap is not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon.

Personally, I'm a field service technician for a security (alarms and card access) company. I drive around all day just wishing I could stop and look for that cache that's really close to where I'm driving.

a former assassin for hire.....NOT.....

Actually, kinda the reverse.....I used to be a firefighter/EMT...but was severely injured and after 1 1/2 years of recovery..had to find another job.

Now I'm an OSHA inspector/accident investigator. It's a good job....I get to see all kinds of stuff being made, and talk to all kinds of people....but I sure do miss being a firefighter!

We're going on a treasure hunt...we're not quite sure just where...but with our trusty GPS, we'll find a cache stashed there!!

I build...well...scenery, mostly stages for Business Meetings, signs and graphics, and the occasional commercial, movie or concert tour. Or, anything else that probably has never been built, doesn't have any real plans or has any real practical purpose.

I'm currently between jobs, which actually means I'm working BOTH of them . . well . . all of them.

I'm the associate minister at a local church and soon to be preaching minister at another church where I'm currently the interim minister (they like me, they really really like me . . and want to keep me).

Other than that I also work with Harvest Prayer Ministries and America's National Prayer Committee.

And . . I used to sell lumber. Man, I miss that job! icon_razz.gif

I'm an artist (but that doesn't pay what it used to). ...so in order to keep a good supply of cache prizes I do computer simulations for civil engineering(these are great because i get to go outside and float balloons to the height of the proposed structure and then take pictures-- i love playing with balloons!!!! ..cell towers are the best because they are usually on mtn tops ...although carrying helium tanks up mountains kinda sucks..) I also do renderings ...they call me a graphics specialist - i call it drawing and coloring icon_biggrin.gif ....i got into geocaching through the GIS guy @ my company

Even though it's on my profile..

Trade of choice: Radio / TV Production Specialist.

I've spent 20+ years in the Broadcast industry in both Radio and Television. I've worn the many hats of a DJ, Voice Talent, copywriter, Asst. Program Director, Program Director, Operations Engineer and Production Engineer. I tried sales too but hated it. Apperently Eskimos don't need Ice.. icon_biggrin.gif

Currently working for a large newspaper on a pressroom team.

Also currently suffering serious withdrawl from radio. Geocaching is a way of keeping myself sane. Although lately I'm beginning to wonder.. icon_eek.gif T&R available on request. icon_smile.gif

I'm the Compliance Manager for an insurance company. I alternate between trying to get the company to comply with state and federal law and trying to convince the state that we are in compliance.

I also am an adjunct professor at a local college. I teach a number of business and management classes.

I'm a wallpaper and painting contractor. Also an artist specializing in knifemaking and toolmaking. I have also spent considerable time making high fired ceramics and homebrewed beer! icon_smile.gif If it's got fire, gadgets and complicated material science behind it then I am there. icon_biggrin.gif
