Night Tracker
Is there a web site for getting coords from an address number? Thanks in advance..Night Tracker Quote Link to comment
+Whidbey Walk
There are a couple of ways. My preferred method is to use MapBlast! Type in an address and then click Create Map. When the map comes up the Lat and Lon will be just above the upper right hand corner of the map. They are in degree decimal format and have been close enough the few times I have used them. http://home.earthlink.net/~whidbeywalk/ Quote Link to comment
+M-D-M Explorations
I use the following site http://geocode.com/eagle.html It says it tracks and allows free use of so many reports. But I have never reached a point where it asked me to register yet! M-D-M Explorations MrSki and DogMa 40º 07.874'N 88º 11.647'W Quote Link to comment
+Leemax
I put in a query about this one a few months back, but got no help. "mapBlast" and the other sites work well in the US but not elsewhere, I've found. However, now I have found a site that does provide coordinates from postal addresses in most countries (It works well in Europe at least) http://www.maporama.com Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
Mapblast will work outside the US. You just need an extra step. Zoom in all the way and select the option to move both the marker and the map, and then click on the marker again. It will then display the coordinates.
