+sept1c_tank
The Selector is a tool I found on the Texas Geocaching page. For an example, visit any of my cache pages. This is a very cool way to enhance a cache page with standardized icons for Wheelchair accessible, kid friendly, etc. attributes of your cache. It is very simple to use and you can customize it with color, font sizes, etc. NOTE: You will have to check the "HTML provided" box when you edit your page. If you have more than 1 paragraph of description, you might want to use the HTML symbols for paragraph. EXAMPLE: <p>This will appear as a paragraph in HTML format.</p> ==============="If it feels good...do it"================ **(the other 9 out of 10 voices in my head say: "Don't do it.")** . +Doc-Dean
Yep, I've been using it for a couple of months and added it to all my caches I've placed. Its really simple to do. There is a good thread here with other enhancements to setting up your cache pages. If you want you can check out some of mine HERE, HERE, Here or here. I am not being a show off but I am proud of my meager html skills! --------------------------------------------------- Free your mind and the rest will follow Quote Link to comment
+Bilder
Pretty neat feature. Will have to add it to my cache pages. Thanks for the info. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have never been lost. Been awful confused for a few days, but never lost! +woodsters
I've had it bookmarked for a while now and used it on my first cache I placed the other day. Brian As long as you're going to think anyway, think big. -Donald Trump Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Interesting to see the cache examples where it was used. I need to dig up my HTML editor and try this out. It seems to solve a few problems that keep coming up in the forums. Doc-Dean, saw your rating system. Is this universial, is there a database or is this a homegrown thing? Quote Link to comment
+woodsters
RK...the selector will spit out the html to you. All you have to do is copy and paste it onto your cache page. Just make sure the html checkbox is checked as stated above. No need for any html editing program, unless you want to change it around some. But then, I don't use any html editing programs. Notepad is where it's at...lol Brian As long as you're going to think anyway, think big. -Donald Trump Quote Link to comment

Very easy to copy and paste the code right into your cache description. Let me know if you have problems with it. --------------------------------------------------- Free your mind and the rest will follow Quote Link to comment
