I know when I sent them that staff I had to leave it in a locker at the local YMCA and when it's time to pay their commisions...we usually do the brief case exchange at a bus terminal or the airport. I tried to follow them once...but they vanished down a man-hole.

Maybe The Arpy Team is actually on to something here and TPTB censored it.

What pisses you off? That was your question, if you want to know what pisses users off go the 22 page complaint department thread and read. No need to start a new thread.

What pisses me off?

Well, when someone who works "for the frog..." in "...the depths of the Groundspeak office," won't take the time to post to a reasonable thread like this. icon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

Yeah. I'm censoring you from seeing the Arpy Team's C: drive.

I have it on good authority that this is Bryan and Heidi in central park. Hey, Heidi, are you married? icon_wink.gif

Doing a little more digging, I found that Jeremy has at least two different public profiles. One says nothing about him as a private person; the other says:

(from Groundspeak)

A former east coaster, Jeremy's haunts used to be in and around Maryland and Virginia.

After a short stint as a Chinese Linguist in the US Air Force, Jeremy started working for General Electric as a webmaster for one of GE's corporate web sites in the early 90's. Since then he has taken on various roles in web programming and design until Geocaching moved from a part-time hobby to a full time job. No complaints here.

Jeremy is now the President and Co-founder of Groundspeak, Inc., the site that owns and operates Geocaching.com.

Jeremy lives in the Seattle, Washington Area (aka The Emerald City) with his wife and two beagles, Sophie and Gus. You'll most likely find them all at Marymoor Park's off-leash area on Saturday mornings.

Hobbies:

Summer: Wakeboarding, hiking and camping, and other outdoor activities. Will try and get back into soccer one of these days.

Winter: Snowboarding (first season), and keeping me and the dogs busy when the sun comes out.

Etc: Computers (obviously)

Here is a lesser known photo of Jeremy:

A Yahoo search produced this.?!

Beckerbuns' pictures are interesting. How does Jeremy manage to resemble both members of They Might Be Giants?

Edit: I almost forgot: Shave his head, and...

Oh jeez... I didn't even notice that he looks like both Johns, Linnell and Flansburgh. AND Dan Aykroyd. Scary.

Groundspeak wouldn't exist if it weren't for the cachers. Here's a photo I dug up of a recent cache event. Since there is so much talk in the forums about numbers, and the cachers that make them, I though it would be interesting to show 7 of the top 10 geocachers:

The Early Days at Groundspeak:

Some things have changed...some have not.

*Geocache* by Bob Kegel

This cache has been archived, but is available for viewing for archival purposes.

From: Bob Kegel To: yngwie@triax.com Subject: The First Underground Stash? Date: Thursday, May 25, 2000 11:52 PM Located in Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend WA N 48.1397 W 122.768 The coordinates are for the entrance to a bunker; you'll need a flashlight. The stash is in a 7.62 MM ammo can. Contains a can of chili, three music CDs, a CD with a demo mapping program, and a logbook. I had trouble keeping a satellite lock because of the trees. The entrance to the bunker is west of three concrete columns. Bob Kegel

Jeremy logged a find here Aug. 20, 2000.

The cache log makes for some good reading.
