v_morph
One may call it a game that may require the use of one or more sports. If you need to Scuba dive, mountain bike, climb or orienteer with a topo, then you are participating in a game which requires sports disciplines to accomplish. I think it is up to the cacher how close he/she takes it becoming a sport. Quote Link to comment

+Pharmadude
Not a game... Not a sport... It's a "pastime" ! There. Solved. Quote Link to comment
+Seay me
I call it an activity. If I had to choose I'd call it a Game. To me a sport requires competition with another participant to accomplish a common goal. I don't feel that I'm in a competition with anyone. My vote is Game if I had to choose.
