+xTerraCacher
i have noticed *lots* of caches placed by TEAM KFWB GPS in California, Oregon, Washington, and BC...I'm on Vancouver Island and have found a few of their caches. Who are these people that they have caches all over the place, and how can they maintain them when they're so spread out? Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but my impression is that if you place a cache, you must visit it once in a while to check it???? Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
The only physical caches they have listed on gc.com are in British Columbia. As they have members in various places, they are well equipped to maintain the caches. Their caches are visited quite regularly, and they are very responsive to DNF logs, and check their caches out as required. Quote Link to comment
Jomarac5
They're not people. They're aliens. With super-human powers. They have super-sonic methods of travel that allow them to not only visit several places in one day but to also be in several locations *similtaneously* Quite frankly, they're super cachers and as such are exempt from many mortal caching laws. ***** Quote Link to comment
+canadazuuk
And thru the alien lenses, 33's look like 20's... Or maybe not. Who knows. Why not ask THE TEAM how they maintain their caches. [This message was edited by canadazuuk on November 01, 2003 at 10:13 PM.] Quote Link to comment
Swagger
I don't know if there's an official connection, but KFWB is an AM news station in Los Angeles. -- There were plants and birds and rocks and things, there was sand and hills and rain... Quote Link to comment
+ZoomZoom
I found one of their cache once and it had "Nothing but Trash". "Every cache has it's rightful place." Quote Link to comment
jimmyjames
I tried one as well but had to press on regardless. Quote Link to comment
KimAndMollie
Me too, but ended up just laying about getting frustrated about being driven hard to perform! But at least I didn't have to worry about rumours becoming fact. I get by with a little help from my friends..... Quote Link to comment

As I recall, you were still trying to get CG into your fold at that time. I recall that, on the way to PRESS ON REGARDLESS, you spoke to CG while he and I and RobertM were at McDonalds... it was an uncomfortable moment, the subject was about missing tags, hmmmm... And 20 minutes later, the CG, RM and I were opening our Christmas presents... that dang rock at Fort Rodd Hill eh!!! Quote Link to comment
+ZoomZoom
You must be talking about that tag glued to rock. "Every cache has it's rightful place." Quote Link to comment
