Swagger Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 quote:Originally posted by sept1c_tank:Arcsoft Photo Impression Can't help ya with that one. In Fireworks, there's two options for resizing - image size and canvas size. It looks like your software is resizing the image (foreground), but leaving the canvas (background) unchanged. Check for an option like that (foreground vs. background, or canvas). You could also select just the image, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into a new image. Most image manipulation programs I've used will import the contents of the clipboard, so if you select File/New, it'll have the size of the clipboard image as the default new image size. Hopefully that made some sense and will help. I'm kinda tired right now, so it may not have... -- Pehmva! Random quote: Quote

fat_cat Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 Sept1c_tank -- after you resize try doing a crop around the edges of your photo.
