volleygod
I am planning a trip to washington and oregon. I would like to go to the very "first" cache. Does anyone know which one that is???? No matter where you go, there you are! Quote Link to comment
Team GPSaxophone
It has long been archived. Besides, it had beans in it (food is a no-no in caches) Took sun from sky, left world in eternal darkness Quote Link to comment
TEAM 360
It's long gone and the area is currently on private property. Quote Link to comment
Laserman
Is this close to what you are looking for? My understanding is that the original is gone, but this may place you very close. Un-Original Stash Quote Link to comment

The Cache Couple
Maybe this question has been answered before but does anyone know where the original pioneer (Dave Ulmer) of this sport is now? Is he still alive? Active in the sport? Just curious. Thanks and happy caching! The Cache Couple East TN Quote Link to comment
Woodbutcher68
Check out the maps on the link GPSaxophone gave. Text says it's in Oregon,USA, map shows it in the Arctic Ocean, West-Northwest of Reykjavik. When they archive 'em, they make sure NOBODY will find 'em! Maps?!? I don't need no stinking maps! I got coordinates! There's a fine line between Geocaching and mental illness, I just not sure which side of the line I'm on! +makaio
I placed the Un-Original way back when. Details on the cache page still apply. I transferred ownership to pony as he lives nearby and I'm 90 mins away. The indentation is still there but Dave pulled the bucket long ago. ----- Matt K7MTO Quote Link to comment
