+Bob&TheGang
Is there a way to attach a work document made in MicroSoft Word? Quote Link to comment
+Mr. Snazz
generally I use a stapler, unless the document is very large and then I use one of those clamp-style clips. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
I've seen it done for a cache. The file was uploaded as a photo, even though it's not. It seemed to work. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=42c8cb4e-36fd-4e82-8c67-9764c601a129 That link should take you to the cache page. Quote Link to comment
bodolad
Oh, Mr. Snazz....that was very good! I really needed the laugh. My 3 younger coven-dwelling witch sisters are trying to ruin Christmas for me already...but that's another story. Is there a mental-health thread here? Quote Link to comment

robertlipe
All the people that don't use Word will thank you not to do this. It doesn't work very well from a Pocket Query, either. You won't mind if I attach my next cache description as nroff source or an awk program to help with your calculations, would you? Not everyone uses the same tools you do... Quote Link to comment

Nroff and awk come with the operating system I use and are natural tools to to me solve certain classes of problems. But from your reaction, I'm guessing those tools are essentially unavailable (or at least impractical) to you. Not everyone uses the same tools. Users of different tools (whether that's the people working from a printed page, a PDA, a pocket query, a Mac, a UNIX or Linux system, or even just a PC that doesn't have Word/Office on it) will find Word documents to be as much of a deal-breaker as you would to find a cache page that was written in nroff.
