How's this for historical forum hunting. Click Here. The forum didn't convert as well into this thread, so you might want to read the original.

This is where they hashed out the idea of "Where YOU are the Search Engine." ScottJ on February 5 2001, 11:27 PM posted "Geocaching. You ARE the search engine. "

And Jeremy wordsmithed it 15 minutes later to: "Where YOU are the search engine"

But in re-reading that forum, there were my favorites...

It's not your Dad's hide & seek

Geocaching...its like easter eggs for grownups...

"ALL YOUR PARKS ARE BELONG TO US !!!"

"dadgum THE MOSQUITOES, FULL SEARCH AHEAD!"

Geocaching--Hike up a mountain to find a rubber ball!

I sat a lot, now I satellite...

That was great!

I loved

Geocache:The real reason Columbus sailed the ocean blue

Geocaching...its like Easter eggs for grownups!

I also saw the post (the geeks shall inherit the Earth) that reminded me of a shirt I saw the other day - It said the Geeks shall INTERNET the Earth

When things are hectic and the phone rings every 5 minutes, the hubby will get silly and answer the phone "City Morgue - you kill 'em, we'll chill 'em" or "City Morgue - you stab 'em, we'll slab 'em" so converting that to a geocaching theme - how about this one -

You Stash it, I'll Cache it!

What's for dinner? How about Hamster Helper?!!!

Geocachers never miss the point.

Geocachers top 3 priorities: Location. Location. Location.

Geocaching. Get it?!?

Geocache. Don't get lost without it.

Geocachers "Have made wandering an art form"

"Old Geocachers never die- They just can't find their equipment! And if and when they do they can't make it work!"

Geocaching- Seemingly intelligent people wandering aimlessly.......with a purpose.
