Guest LoCache
Anybody out there familiar with a web site that helps you plan a trip to several locations at once easily? For instance, if I want to hit three GeoCache's in one day I wondered if there is a site that will let me key in the coords for each site and then map me round trip hitting them all. Just curious. Thanks! Geo Quote Link to comment
Guest bob_renner
Geo, I don't know of a web site but I just bought a copy of MS Streets and Trips 2001 at Costco. It was $27 with a $20 mail in rebate from Costco. It basically does what you want. You have to click on the locations rather than key in the lat/long. You can change the order of the stops and calculate the total distance, etc. If you have a Costco near you, check it out. Bob Quote Link to comment
Guest Markwell
DeLorme's Street Atlas USA does this too, but it is more costly. What I've done is plot my vacation using the major interstates as a guideline, and get an idea of where we're going. Then, using Jeremy's maps - http://www.geocaching.com/cache/maps.asp - I've spotted the nearby caches and scoped them out. Quote Link to comment
