3fros
Someone else did this (I can't remember who, and I'm to lazy to go look) and I thought it was a great idea so here's mine. Here's a picture of our new puppy. He's an 8 week old male Rat Terrier. We can't seem to come up with a good name for him. So far I think Oreo is the best one we've come up with. Another one could be Zit because he has a "Blackhead" That would be confusing to the dog when I say "Sit Zit!" Just kidding, we're not naming it Zit. Any ideas. Quote Link to comment
+Bilder
Cant think of a name, but he sure is a cute little fella. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have never been lost. Been awful confused for a few days, but never lost! Quote Link to comment
+Brainerd
What a cute pup! I think you have a winner in "Oreo". If he didn't have a black butt, I would suggest "Al" or "Al Jolson". I'd be surprised if you get an idea that fits him better than Oreo. Happy hunting, Tom Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves. Henry David Thoreau Quote Link to comment
GeoVet
He looks like a "Garmin" to me (Magellen just doesn't roll off the tongue too well). He IS cute! You don't want to call him "Guernsey" or else people might mistake him for bovine larva. Quote Link to comment

+the england's
I was also looking for a name for my new pup in the last lot of postings and I came up with Trex. Good in two ways. For us cachers everyone knows it etrex shortened and for the muggles its short for T-rex. (a big monster). Feel free to use Trex if you like. +carleenp
I like contradictory names, although I have to admit that my pets don't have those. I had a friend that named a tiny dog "Thor" and I liked that. Another named a dog like yours "Fluffy." Fluffy is just too "ick" for me though for any dog's name. If you want a caching name, how about considering your favorite caches so far and picking one based on that? You could also always go the "Garmin" or "Magellin" route. Quote Link to comment
+Team GeoCan
Hey I just got a Rat terrier too, she is 6 months old, chewing EVERYTHING and Black and white (mostly black).we were going to call wer COP because she should have "To ptotect and to Serve" stenciled on her Black and white sides..., BUT we call her Ki-ki, which means 2 kilos. Now to fit her in the cache, she already has a tag.... +evergreenhiker!
Oh yeah, someone mentioned Copcar...original idea for a name I must admit. How about this: Gateway. You know those gateway computer boxes...black/white pattern similar to a cow. Quote Link to comment

+sept1c_tank
Oreo is a cute puppy name...for a puppy. But consider carefully that someday, Oreo will become a mature dog and deserves the dignity of a real name. How about "Face?" (Great photo) Quote Link to comment
