Someone else did this (I can't remember who, and I'm to lazy to go look) and I thought it was a great idea so here's mine.

Here's a picture of our new puppy. He's an 8 week old male Rat Terrier.

We can't seem to come up with a good name for him. So far I think Oreo is the best one we've come up with.

Another one could be Zit because he has a "Blackhead" icon_biggrin.gif That would be confusing to the dog when I say "Sit Zit!" Just kidding, we're not naming it Zit.

Any ideas.

What a cute pup! I think you have a winner in "Oreo". If he didn't have a black butt, I would suggest "Al" or "Al Jolson".

I'd be surprised if you get an idea that fits him better than Oreo.

Happy hunting,

Tom

It was leatherman that was looking to name his pup I believe.

I am still partial to the name Killer

I was also looking for a name for my new pup in the last lot of postings and I came up with Trex. Good in two ways. For us cachers everyone knows it etrex shortened and for the muggles its short for T-rex. (a big monster). Feel free to use Trex if you like.

I like contradictory names, although I have to admit that my pets don't have those. I had a friend that named a tiny dog "Thor" and I liked that. Another named a dog like yours "Fluffy." Fluffy is just too "ick" for me though for any dog's name. If you want a caching name, how about considering your favorite caches so far and picking one based on that? You could also always go the "Garmin" or "Magellin" route.

Hey I just got a Rat terrier too, she is 6 months old, chewing EVERYTHING and Black and white (mostly black).we were going to call wer COP because she should have "To ptotect and to Serve" stenciled on her Black and white sides..., BUT we call her Ki-ki, which means 2 kilos.

Now to fit her in the cache, she already has a tag....

Is it more important to know what you are talking about,

or more important to talk about what you know?

Well, maybe if they screamed all the time, for no reason.

My dad had a dog when he was a kid named da@#it.

As in "come here da@#it",

"Get out of there da@#it"

Turns out he was a cat person. Just a joke folks.

Cute pup. Such soulfull eyes. I'm mostly lousy at names, always let the kids or wife do the naming. Cop cacher, is the only thing comes to mind. CC for short.

I gotta disagree; GPS the dog was cute the very first time I saw it, but now it's gotten old. Not an original anymore. We prefer human names for our animals. Among others, we have (or have had icon_frown.gif) Fred, Klaus, Manfred and Ernie.
