Thanks for the link, HomeChicken. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have the one I'm looking for.

I'm looking for the new GPSMAP 176C. I've found a bunch of places that have it on the web, but I'm not convinced I'm seeing the best prices. icon_smile.gif

Try http://www.tvnav.com/ They are pretty close to the lowest prices I have found on most Garmin units. I bet you could find lower but you would have to try pretty hard and you won't find better service. I have order twice from them and have been very happy both times. They came highly recommended every where I have looked.

eBay! It takes some patience but you can get a steal of a deal on eBay. I already had a IIIp so I wasn't dying to get the eTrex Legend ASAP. I could wait a week.

I watched the closing prices for eTrex Legends for several days on eBay then started making bids.

I got a new Legend with cable and strap and manual for $170 + $6 shipping. I also bought my Mapsource Topo and US Road & Rec CD sets from eBay.

I bought my IIIp from http://www.gpssignal.com/ a year ago and it was hands down the best price I could find at that time. Great service and nice "package deals" if you want extras as well.

Here is another great location for low prices on GPS accessories! http://www.selectzone.com/

I wanted real GARMIN accessories and most of the data/power cables on eBay are clones/knock offs. I also didn't want to shop around for the best deal on each individual accessory only to peter the savings away on shipping costs from multiple vendors.

I ended up getting a Bean Bag mount for a III+, new style eTrex case, Data/Power cable for both the III+ and Legend. Selectzone had the best deal considering I wanted multiple accessories. The shipping cost was $7 and no charge for sales tax.

Selectzone did have the best price I could find on 3 out of the 4 items plus the shipping and sales tax savings. icon_smile.gif

I bought a vista and found the best prices here: http://xspotter.com/

The prices for all the various models I was considering were only a few dollars less than several other places I checked (including Wal-Mart). Vista $295 Legend $215 eMap $156 etc.

The difference is they sell the MetroGuide CD for $100 and every other place I checked sells it for $130.

Once I figured out you have to disable the palm replicator before you can communicate with the Garmin it was great. rolleyes.gif
