Zuckerruebensirup
Here's a good starter list...not only of things to have in your arsenal, but also things to keep in mind while you're out geocaching (or preparing to do so). ------- "I may be slow, but at least I'm sweet!" Quote Link to comment

+aronburn
thank you for your help VentureForth but an idea, for the not techie's (less technical people still smart just not with tech) in the groups you could have just said serial cable and instead of having people deal with the spottyness of wireless modems have them set up pegas (satille internet connection) in there vans with 802.11a (wireless in the 5 ghz range for computer networking) range extenders extends the range of the networking) and give them the URL (uniform resoure locator what computers use as an equal to your home adress) of topozone.com for all there mapping needs Support Open Source Quote Link to comment
+Ozarktroutbum
My favorite item is a walking staff. Not only does it help me on rough terrain, its GREAT for poking under rocks and in leaves while searching for the cache. I'd hate to run across one of mother natures booby traps. Around here that could be any number of venomous snakes, spiders or even scorpions. Do I have to draw you a map????? Quote Link to comment
