TEAM KFWB GPS Posted March 21, 2003 Share Posted March 21, 2003 Hello fellow cachers, We have just found out that someone has created a fake used ID identical to ours; the only difference being is that the name has a period after it. Please take note of this as some local cachers have attempted a couple of caches that have put them in areas of danger. We do not find this at all humorous especially when other cachers are put at risk. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this matter is cleared up shortly by administration. From there, if you click on the 167 to see caches hidden by you you get 160 caches by you. But if *search* for caches by your user name, you get 1 cache, from a totally different person! Looks like a bug! At least when you search for caches by username 'TEAM KFWB GPS.' (with the '.' on the end) you don't get any caches. Quote Link to comment

I also sent a warning email to another account who matches the IP address of this puppet account. I'm very tempted to give out the name but it seems to be a very naive 16 year old.
