Awhile back, there was some talk on the forums from Jeremy that he was thinking of posting the site also in XML if you put a parameter into the URL (&xml=true or something).

 

Did anything ever come of that? Speaking for myself, I think that it would be quite useful.

I have a feeling it's still in the queue.I just noticed that my suggestion for [unencrypted text in brackets like this] made it in. icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, this would be really helpful. I have a little geocache 'helper' program that I'm working on but parsing the data out of the HTML pages is risky (i.e. if the site changes at all the program needs to adjust to it).

For those of you interested in XML, check out http://www.topografix.com/xml.asp and follow the link to the Yahoo discussion group. We're working on a new XML format for GPS data called GPX. Several programs already support it, including the upcoming versions of EasyGPS and ExpertGPS.
