Guest regoarrarr Posted December 1, 2001 Posted December 1, 2001 Awhile back, there was some talk on the forums from Jeremy that he was thinking of posting the site also in XML if you put a parameter into the URL (&xml=true or something). Did anything ever come of that? Speaking for myself, I think that it would be quite useful. Quote
Guest ClayJar Posted December 2, 2001 Posted December 2, 2001 I have a feeling it's still in the queue.I just noticed that my suggestion for [unencrypted text in brackets like this] made it in. Quote

Guest infosponge Posted January 1, 2002 Posted January 1, 2002 Yes, this would be really helpful. I have a little geocache 'helper' program that I'm working on but parsing the data out of the HTML pages is risky (i.e. if the site changes at all the program needs to adjust to it). Quote
Guest topografix Posted January 2, 2002 Posted January 2, 2002 For those of you interested in XML, check out http://www.topografix.com/xml.asp and follow the link to the Yahoo discussion group. We're working on a new XML format for GPS data called GPX. Several programs already support it, including the upcoming versions of EasyGPS and ExpertGPS. ------------------ Dan Foster TopoGrafix: GPS Software, Waypoints, and Maps http://www.topografix.com Quote
