+chillas
Does anyone know of a freely available ActiveX control for communicating with a GPSr? Or, if not free, then a reasonably priced one that works well? I've got an idea I'd like to try, but I'd rather not go through the hassle of programming the serial communications from scratch. jfitzpat
FWIW, The ActiveX control collection at: http://www.etree.com/tech/notsofreestuff/maptools/index.html contains a control for interfacing to Garmin and Magellan receivers, as well as the map generation stuff. It's not free, but the only restriction on unregistered versions is a nag screen. -jjf Quote Link to comment
