Guest taylor Posted March 8, 2001 Posted March 8, 2001 did ex pres. clinton sign something that allows the gps to have a 20ft proximity to whatever it is that you are looking for. instead of the 100ft. proximity as described on my gps user manual? Quote
Guest jeremy Posted March 8, 2001 Posted March 8, 2001 Yes. It was called Selective Availability and it was removed on May 2, 2000. Thank goodness! Now you get an accuracy of 6 metres (or 20 feet). It's still a pain when you're trying to find a cache the size of a 35mm film canister. Jeremy Quote
