did ex pres. clinton sign something that allows the gps to have a 20ft proximity to

whatever it is that you are looking for.

instead of the 100ft. proximity as described

on my gps user manual?

Yes. It was called Selective Availability and it was removed on May 2, 2000. Thank goodness!

 

Now you get an accuracy of 6 metres (or 20 feet). It's still a pain when you're trying to find a cache the size of a 35mm film canister.
