Multi-Cache Question

Would you think it's wrong to make a multi-cache that cannot be finished in one area or one day?

such as coordinates for the first and maybe second being in the same area, but perhaps a third final coordinate totally someplace different?

is this O.K. or is there some hidden rule that they have to be able to find everything in the same area or park in a one day period?

 

(example, first coordinates at bottom of a hill...lead to second coordinates at top of hill, with coordinates for third final cache in a whole different town?)

It's entirely up to you how difficult or inconvenient as you want.

However you maynot get many visitors to that cache. You should also make an interesting reason for all the travelling around.

the starting point and the endinging point are approx. 50 miles as the crow flys..alot more as a car drives

Just make sure people are aware of that, since some of your seekers may just be traveling through your area.

My multi-cache Mario's Tower was hidden on Aug. 16th, and DLiming and crew have been working on it pretty non-stop for a week and a half and haven't quite finished it yet.

There is a multi in my area where the second half is about 50 or 60 miles from the first part. I'd estimate that only one in five finders of part one ever search for part two.

 

...and they still log it as a find. I'll never get that.
