Look at the Epson 1520. It'll handle paper up to 17 x 22. The actual print area is a bit smaller though 13.5 x 21.5 . It'll do near photo quality at 1440 DPI. I've used it for years to print house plans on till I got a real plotter. I think you can get one for around $450 or so. Kinda steep given the cost of a standard inkjet but wide carriage printing is fun. I can shoot hi-res shots with my digital and print them full size. You can special order the glossy media in larger sizes and really do some neat stuff.

 

When GPSr's are outlawed, only Outlaws will have GPSr's.
