Anyone else just start getting Korean SPAM ?

After 9 months, my first spam has arrived.

Odd thing is, it's in a foreign language.

I know a fellow St. Louis cacher has gotten a couple of these too.

OMG yes! I have an ATT account and last night I received seventy-five Á®Ú¾ÚÂå Korean junk mails. It's so bad I'm considering trashing the address (which sux because it's just my last name @att.net. Hate to give that up.

I'm with att too.

But a fellow geocacher here is St. Louis has some of these as well and he's with networkusa. I have only received 3 of these emails but it's the only spam I have ever received on that email address. I was beginning to think someone harvested the address from our geostl.com website or email list at freelists. Who knows.

I am using my hotmail account exclusively for geocaching. If you didn't hear Hotmail accounts get spammed all the time but I found that if I block all mail that doesn't contain 'geocaching' I get no spam but members can contact me (through the site) and I get all the cache updates / notices.

 

----(sig line)---> Did you ever do any trail maintainence? - if so you will know that all but the most worn trails need continuous maintenance to prevent mother nature from reclaiming it. herd paths are quickly reclaimed - k2dave

I get it all the time and more annyoing, sometimes there is one that totally freezes my PC if I don't delete it quickly enough.
