Well, I know that Garmin's web site (www.garmin.com) will show you a chart that compares the specs of all their units. I think the page where you can compare units is at www.garmin.com/outdoor/compare.html. I'm sure that Magellan has something like that on their page too.

A decent site is also www.thegpsstore.com (no personal affiliation with them). They have been quick to anwser my e-mail questions in the past. Have not bought there... yet but they sure help me alot.

I found a brand new magellan pioneer gps hand held on ebay for 30 bucks. It works great have checked it against airforce gps and have found it to be extremely accurate. and for 30 bucks i figured i couldn't lose p.s. and of course when dealing with ebay or any other online auction agency buyer beware!!!!!!!!
